Rendering sucks. Big time.

Well, here I am, typing this while the other computers in the room are rendering the first scene of our advertisement.

I'm really bored. I can't work on any other scenes because the database refuses to deal with this computer (hence why it isn't rendering as well), and that's pretty much driving me nuts.
However, there's a positive side to this, because no one else can render stuff while ours isn't finished. And five CPUs beat the crap out of a single one. Ha ha ha.

And rendering hair DOES take a very long time. We're rendering at a marvelous 7 or so frames per hour, per CPU.

  • Favourite gaming platform: Gameboy. The ORIGINAL gameboy, that is.

  • Tools of the Trade: WACOM and a computer. Nice combo.
